I love this book because the Jackie gives the science behind her food choices and it’s really easy to follow! Yes, it’s a boring diet, yes, it sucks but YES IT WORKS! My husband and I lost 10 pounds in 10 days but we followed it to a T. We almost had to go to divorce court because we were irritable and uncomfortable in the first 3 days but you really aren’t missing anything from your diet! I love that the diet is broken up into 3- 10 day phases… gives you something to look forward to! The workouts are also doable and manageable. They are quite the downgrade, intensity-wise from what I am used to but I still felt sore because I used heavy enough weights.
